On Saturday 11 April 2026, the heart of Heerlen will transform into the ultimate arena for this epic battle. We are busy preparing to put on an unforgettable gala where talent, perseverance and sportsmanship take centre stage.
Battle of the South provides a unique platform for martial artists of various disciplines and levels to showcase their skills. We are looking for the most driven athletes within the following categories:
Battle of the South
Kickboxing (18+): From ambitious N-class to seasoned A-class fighters, every level is welcome to enter the ring and battle it out. Show who has the best technique and the biggest will!
MMA (18+): Whether your fighters are taking their first steps as amateurs or have already made their mark as professionals, the MMA cage at Battle of the South awaits them. This is the chance to prove themselves in the most complete combat sport.
This event is more than just a series of matches; it is a celebration of martial arts culture, a place where gym owners can showcase their hard-working athletes and the public can enjoy adrenaline-fuelled confrontations. We aim for balanced match-making to ensure exciting fights.
