NEXTREME MMA 7 in Aalsmeer: early TKOs, title winners and an evening full of action

NEXTREME MMA 7 in Aalsmeer proved to be an event not to be forgotten in a hurry. The evening was packed with action and featured a striking number of bouts that ended by TKO in the very first round. This ensured a fast-paced event and plenty of spectacle for the audience in attendance.
One of the major highlights was the four-man tournament for the Featherweight title. In the semi-finals, Jamie Jong faced Bas Voor Den Dag, whilst Nizami Ghulaman took on Souleymanou Adamou. Ultimately, it was Nizami Ghulaman who emerged as the tournament winner and claimed the Featherweight title.

A four-man tournament for the welterweight title was also on the programme. Bryan Ribeiro faced Pawel Kasprzyk, whilst Hakob Chatalbashyan took on Gavin Luijendijk. At the end of the tournament, it was Gavin Luijendijk who emerged victorious and claimed the Welterweight title.
Another standout story of the evening came from Edgar Liparitjan. After another fighter withdrew, he was unexpectedly given the chance to compete in a grappling bout. Liparitjan showed he was up to the challenge and ultimately won both bouts. In doing so, he put in a strong performance on an evening when he had not initially been scheduled to fight twice.
In addition to the MMA and grappling bouts, the audience were also treated to two kickboxing bouts. This gave the event a nice mix of different disciplines within combat sports.

Unfortunately, the scheduled main event could not go ahead. The bout was cancelled because the agreed weight limit was not met. It was a disappointment for the audience, but the many other bouts and early finishes more than made up for it.
NEXTREME MMA 7 proved itself in Aalsmeer to be a well-organised event packed with action, title bouts and surprising moments. In particular, the large number of first-round TKOs gave the evening a spectacular flavour.
With Nizami Ghulaman as Featherweight champion, Gavin Luijendijk as Welterweight champion and Edgar Liparitjan’s remarkable double victory, NEXTREME MMA 7 produced several memorable moments.
19 September 2026 thus became an evening centred on speed, competition and spectacle.
