Tilburg crowd favourite Bas “Balboa” Oosterweghel demolishes opponent at Embrace 3

On Sunday 24 May 2026, the Koepelhal in Tilburg was completely dedicated to martial arts at the grand Embrace 3 event. With more than 50 matches and a frenzied atmosphere, the audience was treated to an evening full of spectacle. One of the absolute highlights of the evening came from Tilburg boxer Bas Oosterweghel, better known as “Balboa”.

Knockoutnews was present at the event and spoke afterwards with the local fighter, who managed an impressive victory in his own city. Oosterweghel fought a strong and dominant boxing match, forcing a TKO in the fourth round after a veritable storm of attacks.
