Report of a Spectacular House Gala by ZERO45 on December 14, 2025 , against must have leading fighter Riley Demarteau 14 years!

On Saturday, December 14, 2025, ZERO45’s atmospheric event hall, known for its frequent and high-quality martial arts galas, was the stage for an evening of adrenaline and spectacle. An enthusiastic audience comprising family members, friends and martial arts enthusiasts had gathered to witness as many as 30 carefully curated matches. The gala, which stood out for its diversity and high level, provided a platform for both young talents and experienced amateurs in various disciplines.

The evening began with an impressive 17 youth kickboxing matches. These young fighters showed that the future of the Dutch sport of kickboxing is bright, combining technique, perseverance and sportsmanship.

The youthful showdown was followed by 5 N-class matches, in which the participants were already more experienced and could further showcase their skills. These matches were often fierce confrontations, with the athletes pushing each other to the limit. The tension was palpable and every punch or kick was met with cheers or sighs.

The transition to Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) brought a new dimension to the evening. First came the 2 youth MMA matches, in which the young fighters showcased their all-round skills in both standing fighting and ground work. It was fascinating to see how they mastered the complex rules and techniques of MMA even at a young age. This was followed by 5 exciting amateur MMA matches. These matches were all highlights, with impressive takedowns, submission attempts and explosive punches. The audience was on the edge of their seats, completely engulfed by the dynamics of the fights.

It was striking how many of these matches, both in kickboxing and MMA, ended with a Technical Knock-Out (TKO). This was testament to the fighters’ high intensity and determination to overpower their opponent. There were moments of sheer dominance and unexpected turns that kept the spectators on the edge of their seats. The referees had their hands full, and in about two MMA matches, the referee actually had to intervene to ensure the safety of the fighters, a sign of the fierce battle being fought. This highlighted the professionalism and care for the athletes that ZERO45 values.
