On Aug. 31, 2025, LEGEND JAPAN hosted a spectacular kickboxing match between Thian “TARZAN” De Vries and Chip Moraza Pollard.
The showdown was all about brute force and technical ingenuity, with Thian De Vries dominating from the first moment. De Vries, nicknamed “TARZAN” because of his untamed energy and explosive style, impressed with an arsenal of devastating punches, powerful kicks, spectacular backward high kicks and lightning-fast high kicks. The impact of these attacks was enormous and clearly visible on Chip Moraza Pollard.
Even with the first raunchy punches, it was clear that Moraza Pollard was suffering. An anxious look betrayed the impact of the powerful attacks. Chip’s punches, on the other hand, seemed to make no impression whatsoever on the stoic Thian De Vries. Moraza Pollard was forced to move from one side of the ring to the other, searching for an opening and grip on the match, but he found no footing.
Poor Chip had to take a tremendous amount to withstand the inhuman forces of Thian De Vries. One devastating punch after another arrived. The moment of truth came with a devastating right and left jab from Thian that caused Chip to completely lose his way. The referee should have stepped in at that moment and stopped the fight, instead of awarding the mandatory eight count. However, instead of a saving intervention, a full, powerful jab from Thian followed, causing Chip to collapse like a house of cards. Only then, too late, was the towel thrown into the ring, a sign of surrender and a recognition of the brutal dominance of Thian “TARZAN” De Vries. The victory was an obvious testament to De Vries’ superior strength and a nightmare for Moraza Pollard.
